Hey! This is Samah a creative educator and game designer with a bachelor's degree in nuclear chemical engineering, and an educational technology diploma. A National Geographic Certified Educator and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE). Now I am a master's researcher in instructional technology at Cairo University.
During my 15 years of teaching in science, chemistry, physics, and STEM programs. I taught students from primary to university stages across various international and local curricula. I also designed and taught educational technology courses for teachers.
I mentored a team of children in a research project to investigate plastic pollution in the River Nile and advocate and spread awareness about plastic pollution.
“Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy! It’s the best way to learn something.”
I found fun and joy in transforming curricula into educational games, starting from treasure hunting adventures to wooden and assembly games, and creating escape rooms designed to immerse the students in a real experience to Take chances, make mistakes, and learn better.
I love traveling and visiting new places, reading mystery stories, watching sci-fi movies, and playing strategy video games. This inspires me when designing activities or games to attract students. I also enjoy DIY projects (Do-It-Yourself) in my spare time.
